SUBJECT LIST
This page is a list of subject categories being developed by the IISOH Library & Museum.
These are the major suggested areas of interest for named endowments.
You can see the broad scope of the Institute's collecting goals.
Additional subjects may be added at any time by the Board of Directors or suggested by Benefactors.
Subjects in BOLD are on the program of the Modern Olympic Games and are among the primary areas of interest
in seeking endowments. Some subjects have links to a more detailed page on that subject to give you more information.
The intention of the Institute is to develop a comprehensive, multi-lingual collection of all the literature in the world
on these subjects for the Library as well as artifacts for the Museum. An endowment for each subject area would provide for permanent,
long-term acquisition funds for collection development. Donations of books and artifacts are also encouraged.
